Starting in the winter term 2024/25 we offer the course “Turkish as a language of origin”, aimed at students who speak Turkish as their mother tongue (family language) and would like to improve their writing and reading skills. You will be able to read and understand longer texts on general and academic topics. You will improve your writing skills by getting to know different types of phrasing and text and how to use them in formal and informal contexts. At the same time, your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary will improve and expand. The linguistic and cultural characteristics of German and Turkish will be discussed.

The course concludes with an examination (2.5 CPs). Enrolment is possible from 7 October 2024 via the course directory on my.h_da (Language Center/Turkish as a Language of Origin).
