Synopsis
After many years in Rome, teacher Michele decides to make a radical new start: he moves to a remote mountain village in Abruzzo to teach at a small primary school. However, life in the rural community presents him with unexpected challenges - from harsh winters to completely new social dynamics. Gradually, Michele makes friends and realises how important the school is for village life. When the school is threatened with closure, a struggle to save it begins that brings the village community closer together and shows how much solidarity can achieve.
